I wonder if this will be a tradition starting every new year where my first post will be a nomination tag from the aniblogger community.
If so, great.
Let’s get started!

- Explain your blog’s origin story or its history.

Thanks to

For nominating me with the Blogger Recognition Award and welcome to the WordPress aniblogger sphere! We’re happy to have you and I hope to read more of your recommendation posts and thoughts revolving around anime. Check out her latest post on seven upcoming mystery anime titles in 2020. I’m definitely waiting to see the ACCA 13 OVA in February!
Where did I begin?

I started this anime/manga blog because I enjoy writing as much as I enjoy reading manga and watching anime.
Growing up, I wanted to become a writer as a profession (still do-ish) and everyone I spoke to said how important it was to write consistently and to showcase my work via a portfolio. It took me until after I graduated from university with a bachelor’s degree in my pocket that I decided to create this blog in September 2017.
I wasn’t sure what to name the blog. I thought about my (old) Tumblr blog and how I liked writing and making fanart. I originally planned to use my blog as not only a place where I could share my thoughts on anime, manga and other related media in writing, but draw cute funny comic strip versions of the posts I’d write or jokes/weird thoughts I’d have watching anime or reading manga. It’s how I came up with the name of my blog, “Ramblings N’ Scribbles.”
I’m kinda sad I didn’t try drawing the comic strips but at the same time, I think I knew that I’d be too lazy to plan out and doodle them…
What advice would I give new bloggers??

- Write for yourself and write about the things you enjoy and are passionate about.
- Love what you write and show it off.
- Have fun with your writing.
- Keep writing.
- Even if you feel or think that no one cares about what you have to say because there are a million other blogs out on the web talking about the same thing you are, it’s so much more fun improving and sharpening your skills by writing continuously. Adding to discussions about how Sword Art Online or Accel World is the best summer anime can help you build friendships with all those blogs.
- With that being said, respect your fellow bloggers.
- Also, writing consistently requires hella’ lot of discipline, but do your best and be kind to yourself.
Tag You’re It

(But honestly, only if you want to do this tag and apologizes if you’ve been tagged already. Please don’t feel pressured.)

Yeeey, nicu, you also did the tag!
You are absolutely right about the quality of writing increasing the more content you write. It’s a very good practice and we can write about something we love 🙂
